Writing of a Dream

Ok I feel guilty haven’t posted anything in a week but my brain is going to ooze out of my ear this weekend to recover from the mind bending loops it has been going through.

Monday 14th & Tuesday 15th

Ok Data cards still weren’t working but we made a ton of headway and I didn’t get home until 9:30 pm which kinda sucked. But Tuesday morning I came in and we got it all worked out (finally!) and authentication is even running properly. It took me breaking out the card of old, the merlin that took a month to provision, to prove that the problems weren’t on the card provisioning end (my end) they were on someone else’s hands which kept me in the clear.

It is very frustrating having to work late on one of the two nights a week you get to see you beau though.

Wednesday 16th

More work and being bored at home that night. Not much happened Wednesday really….

Thursday 17th

We lost our vendor Bright Point. Was a total PITA but I ended up pulling it together two hours after work with an awesome call to Black Star. They were able to get me product by Monday which is completely unheard of fast. And Lori seems like a really awesome person I can’t wait for a vendor luncheon where I can meet her in person.

Went to look at a house in Edmond that royally sucked. But Me being slightly desperate for housing was thinking “well we could replace one of the doors and remodel the kitchen and replace all the windows and take it off the rent….” Gary then explained we would have the next 2.5 years of rent paid for so we passed on that idea. After heading back to Cathy and Bill’s house to drop off Bill after looking at the house I went by Hannah and Jenna’s to say Hi. Explained housing Issue. Vented about the vendor issue and the great new one I found. And Ogre called.

So Ogre and I went on an adventure. We went to the Casino. I have never been to a Casino before, I have been through the Vegas Airport but that doesn’t count. So everyone there starts explaining stuff to me and I only ended up loosing $20 so It wasn’t all bad. After we finished playing I was starving so I suggested we try the buffet and I was amazed! They have amazing food… that is dirt friggin cheap! It was all you could eat crab leg night so it was $5 more than usual but two people able to eat all you can eat good food with a wide selection for under $30 was still very nice. It was alot of fun and I got to hang out with the ogre friend.

Friday 18th.

Got the new equipment ordered. Wired the monies for it and after work I went to look at an amazing house for rent. It is in the Village, I drove up there at 5pm so I could see what evening traffic is because none is generally worse than Monday morning and Friday evening. I was able to get to the house with very little stress and within 30 minutes which was awesome! To get to a home in Edmond it usually takes around an hour and it is only 6miles further north to the center of Edmond. It being that close that also gives our house the option of a possible hangout location for friends.

The house is $750 a month all wood flooring, new double paned green windows, brick, 1 car detached garage, large yard, all new appliances as of February stove, fridge, ac unit, heating unit, wiring, dishwasher, w/d combo, all new lighting, new toilet and new sink in the bathroom with new tiling. I mean it is an awesome renovation. I put in my application for it and said I would bring Gary’s by the next day. Just awesome.

Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th

Took up Gary’s application as well as his pay stub. I couldn’t get into the office so I couldn’t get mine I’m going up on Monday. All day sat and sun I really just bummed around read books and played pokemon. I’m now at a pokedex of 403, I am entirely pleased with myself on that.

I finished The Pact by Jodi Picoult and it is the first book of hers i really didn’t dig. I didn’t like the teen suicide/homicide that happened. But I’ve read worse books. I started another of her books Salem Falls and so far it is going fairly well.
