Writing of a Dream

Well, today sucked. I ended up having to stay home from work because of my bum. Yes literally. I have had issues with my bum since birth really and I won’t go into it to spare the disgusting details but to say the least my bum was really hurting today and yesterday and hopefully everything will be wonderful tomorrow with no pain.

Since I was home I figured I would attempt to accomplish something and so I got to work on the packing shenanigans. I got about 10 boxes packed today mostly stuff in the living room and bathroom but it’s still a start. If i can manage to pack at least 5 boxes a day after this there should be no question/problem having everything packed by the night of the 14th. This moving go round I have everything planned from top to bottom. Down to the point I am keeping backpacks in certain rooms so that on the night of the 14th/morning of the 15th I can just throw the last few things in and put them in my truck and everything else is taken away by the movers.

I am so happy in a way I have had so many horrid moves. Because of this I already know everything that can go wrong and do whatever I can think of to prevent said issues. So far my list is as follows:

- Call Edmond electric and set up service (Done and it cost me a friggin $320 Deposit)
- Get everything in the bathroom packed except for Bare necessities (Done today)
- Call ONG and get gas set up (still working on this one.)
- Get the fence at the new place built (Gary has the posts set in concrete so halfway there)
- Hire the movers ( I found 2 guys and a big vehicle for $69 an hour)
- Set up doggie spa treatment for the puppies for a non stressful move (Done)
- Finish packing the living room (Almost done just the few odds and ends and the gaming systems)
- Pack up the desk and everything on it (this is halfway done.)
- Figure out what to do about a fridge (still working on this one)
- Pack up everything in the Closet (Halfway done just need to plan clothes for 7 days)
- Transfer the money from FCCU to TFCU (have to go to the ATM tomorrow to do this…)
- Get Gary’s check depositied (that’s tomorrow)
- Get all of the laundry done in the house (2 loads/day should be done by Sun)
- Move stuff in my Hope chest to boxes. (Otherwise no one is going to get it down the steps)
- Pack up the storage closet with the w/d in it (haven’t started but not much to do)
- Get all crafts and craft containers packed and secured. (Shouldn’t take much effort)
- Work on getting the Kitchen packed except for bare essentials. (Haven’t started.)
- Get all electronics unplugged and packed up (This is going to happen until the 15th)
- File the skip a payment on my truck loan on the TFCU website. (Can’t do this until after the 15th)
- Check to see if mom paid off the Mac (I hope so or the balance went up.)
- Clean out My truck. (This really needs to get done but I might wait until we move)
- Plan menu for the house warming party on the 17th. (I am 90% sure what I am going to do)
- Call Cox to move service (Done)
- Call banks to update mailing addresses. (TFCU done FCCU not done.)
- Call Sprint and update address. (Not done)
- Call friends to tell them about the afternoon house warming event at our house on the 17th.

Yeah I have a bit to do still but I think I can get it all done this week. Not to mention the fact that this month is the launch month for our company. Yeah tons of fun on every front backed by lots of stress. Hopefully though for the first time everything actually clicks in place.

In my offtime and to de-stress myself I have been playing my Pokemon Pearl game again. I almost have my pokedex completed. I am sitting at 455 out of 493. I’m getting so close and the completionist in me is crying out. I really want it done.

Well I’m going to head to bed it’s 10:30p and I really need to make sure that I get up on time and get started on everything. Hopefully everything will be flowing smoothly on this move *fingers crossed* and everything will be fabulos!
